Crimea and Sevastopol will become the only regions of the Russian Federation, where utility bills in 2018 will not grow. The corresponding order signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev is published on the government website . In all other regions of the Russian Federation they will pay for a communal apartment more after the presidential election. Now residents of Crimea are paying for heat by 45-50% less than in Krasnodar.

The Government of the Russian Federation annually determines the values ​​of indices that set the maximum permissible increase in the total payment of citizens on average for the corresponding region. Indexes serve as the basis for the heads of regions of maximum permissible values ​​of the growth of housing and communal services in cities and villages.

The signed order approves indices for the constituent entities of the Russian Federation for 2018. So, the fee for housing and communal services in Moscow in the second half of 2018 can grow by 5.5%, St. Petersburg - by 6%. Crimea and Sevastopol are absent in this list, RIA Novosti reports.

Recall that in the Crimea and Sevastopol, a change in tariffs for heating, gas, electricity, water and drainage has occurred since 2014 two to three times a year. So, from July 1, 2017, water supply services will rise in price there by 9.3%, heat supply and power supply - by 15%, gas - by 2%. The previous increase in the cost of utilities in Crimea was carried out in January. Then the tariffs for electricity rose by 15%, heat - by 9.6%, gas - by 10%and water - by 15%. Despite the fact that housing and communal services tariffs on the peninsula are raising regularly, the prices for housing and communal services are still very low there. So, in comparison with Krasnodar, the heat tariff in Crimea is lower by 45-50%, by water-by 32-37%.

Recall that the Russians will meet the New Year with the old communal tariffs. Everything will change after the election. The next increase is planned to be carried out from July 1, 2018. Tariffs are promised to be raised within inflation, in the amount of not more than 4%.

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, in January-July of the current year in Russia , housing and communal services tariffs increased by 4.2%. Most of all, cold water and sanitation went up in price over the year. The least tariffs increased for heating and power supply.
