Angara region: The organizer of the burned -out nursing home was detained

The second criminal case was carried out by the Investigative Committee in the Irkutsk Region after a fire in a private nursing home. Now the investigation is carried out not only on the facts of the provision of services that do not meet security requirements, but also for three deaths. The organizer of the boarding house was detained, investigators work with it, the Investigative Committee of the region said .

The fire occurred on October 18 at about 5 a.m. on the ground floor of a two -story boarding house on Kurortny Street in Irkutsk. From the burning house, rescuers evacuated 12 guests of the NC "Palliative Assistance Foundation named after St. Militsa" and 3 employees of the boarding house. Most pensioners were diagnosed with carbon monoxide poisoning. On October 20, 25 and 29, three victims from the nursing home died in the hospital.

Immediately after the fire, it became known that the private boarding house worked illegally: the organization was not entered into the register of social services of the regional Ministry of Health, the fund also does not have a license allowing the long -term stay of guests.
