Alas, in recent decades, the stream of utopias in the domestic (and in the world) literature is almost exhausted, and the anti -utopia level of Zamyatin, Huxley, Orwell, or at least the “hour of the bull” Ivan Efremov on the horizon did not appear on the horizon. Is the notorious “death of large narratives” or the refusal of “genre” literature from anthropocentrism, an unchanging idea of ​​a person as the extent of all things? Is there a revival of utopia in the near future and, if so, what will it be? What literary areas occupy the vacant niche now? The second volume of the anthology of modern Swiss drama includes plays selected by five directors and theater figures who are well acquainted with the development trends of the Western European and Russian theaters (E. The debt to society (the “vow” of Dominic Bush), discrimination on the sexual basis (“Frau Schmits” by Lucas Berfus), immigration and xenophobia (“America” Gerhard Mayister, “Dmitry Gavrish’s wasteland”) - this is just a small list of global social problems raised in the plays of anthology. The reformist heritage of Peter I, like his own personality, still gives rise to fierce disputes in Russian society. In the 19th century, disagreements in the assessment of Peter's activity were largely impetus to the emergence of two main directions of the ideological struggle in the Russian intellectual elite - Westerners and Slavophiles. Evgeny Anisimov decided on a bold step: to submit on an equal footing two points of view on the historical role of the reformer. He gave his new book the form of dialogue, or rather, the fierce debate of two opponents: a supporter of a pan -European development and a supporter of a “special path”. According to the author, both positions have the right to exist, both are true in their own way and both reflect such a complex, ambiguous phenomenon as Peter's era in Russian history.

Knitted things - and especially things related to - are often perceived by the viewer as one of the most conservative types of clothing, and the practice of knitting is still associated with naivety, comfort, tradition and comfort. That is why a violation of costume norms in the design of knitted things or in the very technique of their creation can cause an acute emotional reaction in the viewer - regardless of whether the author of a knitted thing wanted this reaction. In his lecture, Linor Goralik will talk about how such practices can be arranged and how exactly the intentional or random violations of the “norm” arise in this area.

Николай I считал Францию источником «революционной заразы», а в пришедшем к власти в 1830 году короле Луи-Филиппе видел не «брата», а узурпатора. Представляя свою новую книгу «Французы „полезные” и „вредные”», Вера Мильчина расскажет о злоключениях французов, приезжавших в Россию в 1830–1840-х годах. «Оптимизм» — сборник поэтических пьес Андрея Родионова и Екатерины Троепольской. Драматургия в стихах — довольно редкий жанр в наше время, на первый взгляд не соответствующий задачам современного театра. Тем не менее постановки по пьесам Родионова / Троепольской идут и на модных, и на экспериментальных площадках страны. Зрительский интерес обусловлен острым социальным содержанием пьес, не менее острым юмором и, конечно, жестким поэтическим слогом известного поэта Андрея Родионова.

15.30–16.30 Как становятся профессорами? Академические карьеры и развитие науки. Лекция Михаила Соколова
Как устроены академические карьерные лестницы в разных странах, чем определялся выбор той или иной конструкции и какие следствия он имеет для построения стратегий индивидуальной академической судьбы и для развития науки в целом? На лекции будут представлены результаты сравнительного исследования академических карьер специалистов в области социальных наук из пяти стран: Великобритании, Германии, России, США и Франции. Примеры этих стран позволяют проанализировать истоки и следствия институционализации одной из двух основных моделей устройства карьерной лестницы и рынка ученого труда — селекционирующей (Германия, США) и трансформирующей (Россия, отчасти Франция).

Дж. Р. Р. Толкин писал, что изобретает не языки для своих миров, а миры для своих языков. Это звучит чрезвычайно романтично, и именно благодаря Толкину случилось так, что в наши дни изобретение языков (пожалуй, впервые в человеческой истории) стало профессией, которая даже может приносить доход. На лекции речь пойдет о людях, которым удалось превратить лингвоконструирование в работу: в первую очередь о Дэвиде Питерсоне, который создаёт дотракийский и валирийский языки для «Игры престолов», но и не только о нем.

16.30–17.30 Когда технический прогресс встречается с этикой, или Что такое киберпанк? Лекция Алексея Поляринова
Киберпанк как жанр жил очень недолго и умер в 90-е, сегодня от него осталась только оболочка, стиль — темные плащи, голограммы, импланты, как в фильмах «Матрица» и «Призрак в доспехах». В 80-х же киберпанк изменил не только научную фантастику, но и литературу в целом — это был жанр, возникший на пересечении науки и этики, изучавший опасности технического прогресса и трансгуманизма. На лекции литературного журналиста и переводчика Алексея Поляринова речь пойдет о фантастах, которые определили главные темы жанра еще в 60–70-е годы: Альфред Бестер, Джон Браннер, Филип Дик, Джеймс Типтри, Джозеф Макэлрой, Вернор Виндж, Джек Уомэк, Уильям Гибсон и другие.

Научный бой — состязание ученых, смесь научной конференции и стендап-выступления.
Шесть молодых ученых рассказывают о своих исследованиях. Задача — интересно и понятно представить свои научные результаты за 10 минут. Победителя конкурса громкостью аплодисментов определяют зрители.

17.30–19.00 «Библия бедных». Встреча с Евгением Бабушкиным
Евгений Бабушкин — писатель, журналист, музыкант, лауреат «Дебюта» и Премии Дмитрия Горчева, замглавреда журнала «Сноб» и на редкость талантливый рассказчик. Процитируем рецензию с сайта «Горький»: «Рассказывая свои истории, Бабушкин будто пританцовывает и размахивает цилиндром на фоне пламени, охватившего город. Так и хочется приписать ему вырыпаевское „правое легкое танцует, левое легкое танцует” и опасно веселое выражение лица артиста Филимонова, читающего эти строки в фильме „Кислород”. But still, Grandmother is an independent face, especially standing out against the background of an even Russian literary landscape of recent years. „Библия Бедных” — дебютная книга, суммирующая опыт автора в разных ипостасях». На встрече с красноярцами Евгений расскажет о своем опыте журналиста, писателя и путешественника, что-нибудь прочтет и устроит мини-концерт.

Шамиль Идиатуллин — автор романа «Город Брежнев» , номинированного на премии «Большая книга» и «Русский Букер» сезона 2016–2017, а также романов «Татарский удар», «СССР™», «Убыр» (под псевдонимом Наиль Измайлов). Журналист ИД «Коммерсант» и редкий автор, который умеет рассказывать на встречах с читателями массу интересных вещей — например, о советской истории, шпионских романах и фантастических сюжетах. 12.30–13.30 Как культура реагирует на трагедию. Американская литература и кино после 11 сентября. Лекция Алексея Поляринова
Любая масштабная катастрофа находит отражение в литературе, но еще и в корне меняет культуру в целом. Меняет язык, на котором люди говорят о жертвах и о выживших. И изучение текстов, посвященных трагедиям, может многое сказать об обществе. В новейшей истории США точкой «перезагрузки культуры» стало 11 сентября 2001 года. Лекция переводчика и литературного журналиста Алексея Поляринова посвящена романам, в которых авторы пытаются осмыслить трагедию: «Жутко громко и запредельно близко» Дж. С. Фоера, «Падающий» Дона Делилло, «Край навылет» Томаса Пинчона, «Bark» Лорри Мур и других.

14.30–16.30 Туве Янссон — жизнь в тени Муми-дола . Лекция Любови Шалыгиной
Несмотря на то, что всему миру Туве Янссон известна прежде всего как создательница муми-троллей, на самом деле сама себя она считала в первую очередь художником и всю жизнь писала полотна, пытаясь состояться как живописец. Однако сочинение сказок о муми-троллях из развлечения, призванного скрасить тяжелые военные времена, превратилось в полноценную работу, которая отнимала все свободное время Янссон. Лекция Любови Шалыгиной, журналиста, переводчика биографии Янссон «Работай и люби» на русский язык, расскажет о вехах карьеры Янссон как художницы и о том, как на свет появился мир муми-троллей.
