A letter from the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office with a notification of the provision of asylum to Nikich was sent to Montenegro on October 9. As stated in the message, Nikich is in Russia at large.

The Russian authorities deny involvement in illegal actions in Montenegro and do not comment on messages about the provision of asylum to one of the accused.

On Wednesday, a key witness in the case of an attempt by a coup, a Serbian citizen Sasha Shindlach showed in court, calling the main organizer of the operation of Russian citizen Eduard Shishmakov (pseudonym Shirokov), RTCG reports .
