Russian President Vladimir Putin, who was on an official visit to Iran, thanked the inhabitants of Tehran for the patience manifested during the movement of presidential motorcies - him, the leaders of Iran and Azerbaijan. Putin first expressed such gratitude to foreign citizens.
Putin expressed satisfaction with the results of the joint work of President Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President Iran Hassan Rukhani.
“I want to thank Iran’s leadership for the invitation, and the inhabitants of Tehran for the patience that they gained during our movements in the city. We saw how difficult it is. But I hope that our work was not in vain today,” Putin said according to the results of trilateral negotiations (a quote for RIA Novosti ).
He added that the tripartite format allows you to achieve good results. “We discussed very important issues of the tripartite format, but I am sure that, working in this way - openly, kindly, with a mutual desire for a positive result, we will benefit the countries,” he said.
The Russians have repeatedly complained about Putin’s motorcade, since the surrounding roads are traditionally blocked at the same time, which causes huge traffic jams.
Putin brought apologies to the Russians in October 2012. “I regret and apologize to those to whom we cause inconvenience. And frankly, I worry about it. I am uncomfortable. But we must somehow work,” he said then. "Sometimes I hear the sounds of cracons of dissatisfied motorists. It is a pity that when moving around Moscow, only in rare cases you can use a helicopter," the president said.
The President then announced the decision to leave the Kremlin as much as possible, so as not to create traffic jams on Moscow roads. After a little more than six months, the Kremlin announced the meaninglessness of this venture, stating that there were no more traffic jams in Moscow.
