Bitcoin exchange rate exceeded $6,500

The exchange rate of bitcoin against the dollar has once again updated its historical maximum, according to the data of the exchange.

By 12:20 Moscow time, the price of bitcoin had set a new all-time high of $6,504.89.

The total market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies rose to $184.4 billion from $29.7 billion at the beginning of the year.

In September, the cryptocurrency rate for the first time exceeded 5 thousand dollars. In August, bitcoin also crossed several historic milestones.

Recall that in Russia they plan to introduce a limit on the amount of purchase of cryptocurrencies. The Ministry of Finance of Russia and the Central Bank agreed to prepare a draft law on regulating the circulation of cryptocurrencies by the end of the year.
