Tambov headquarters coordinator Alexei Navalny was arrested for 7 days

The coordinator of the Tambov headquarters of Alexei Navalny, Diana Rudakova, was arrested for 7 days for the rally on October 7. She reported this by calling the OVD-Info hotline.

The police came today for Rudakova directly to the headquarters. A protocol was drawn up against her under Part 2 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (organization or holding of an unapproved public event) for a share on 7 October. On this day, there was no mass action in the city, the activists went to single pickets.

In addition, was detained Leonid Yarygin, Rudakova's deputy, at the headquarters, and a protocol was also drawn up against him under Part 2 of Art. 20.2, but already for the action-meeting with Navalny on October 29th. Yarygin was taken to the police station in the Sovetsky district of Tambov and left there overnight. Judgment will be tomorrow.

In the Sovetsky District Court, where Rudakova was being tried today, the police talked in the presence of the girl about how they would take her to a special detention center even before the hearing began. To Rudakova’s remark, the police replied: “Well, you yourself understand everything.”
