The prosecutor's office revealed violations by almost 200 million for defense orders in Novosibirsk

The prosecutor's office found multimillion -dollar violations for state defense order in Novosibirsk. The prices of state contracts with the NIIEP were overstated.

The ex-head of one of the military missions signed conclusions with false information about the price of products of the Scientific and Research Institute of Electronic Devices, the military prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation said.

“The price of state contracts was overstated by 190 million rubles,” the department said.

In relation to the responsible person, the case was opened under Part 3 of Art. 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (abuse of authority, which entailed grave consequences).

NIIEP is a leading Russian enterprise to create a near location, as well as automation for various weapons and military equipment systems - from mass destruction to high -precision missile and torpedo weapons. The company is a member of the Technmash concern of the Rostec State Corporation. The most famous plant products are guidance systems for rocket systems Grad and Smerch, as well as for Iskander-M and S-300 complexes.
