Novosibirsk will reduce budget deficit in 2018

The budget of Novosibirsk for 2018 will be offered with a shortage of more than 1 billion rubles. The city authorities are negotiating with the government of Andrei Travnikov on additional transfers.

The city hall prepared a draft budget for 2018–2020. The city’s income in 2018 is scheduled for 37.5 billion, expenses-38.8 billion rubles. The deficit will be about 1.35 billion rubles, follows from the published document.

In 2017, income is 37.4 billion, expenses - 39.3 billion rubles. The deficit is scheduled for 1.91 billion rubles.

“The situation with the budget of Novosibirsk looks somewhat worse, if you compare in terms of filling in terms of income-expenses,” said Mayor Anatoly Lokot on November 1 at a meeting with journalists. - Already in 2017, we have agreements that they will help us with subsidies, subventions to resolve specific issues regarding improvement, transport, and the construction of transport facilities. For 2017, it is already clear, according to the budget for 2018 - work still remains. ”

The draft budget-2018 was submitted to public hearings, which are scheduled for November 10 in the Great Hall of the City Hall. Then the document will be entered into the City Council.

Earlier, Lokot said that he would like to ask the acting governor Andrei Travnikov to return at least 3% of personal income tax to the city. In 2014, we recall, the regional authorities redistributed 10% of deductions from income tax on individuals in the regional budget. In August 2017, it became known that the city hall, the regional government and deputies previously discussed additional budget transfers to the city instead of 10% of personal income tax.
