Igor Klyamkin: “About cognitive dissonance, which is unlikely to be noticed”

"Some people's brains are structured in an original way. They explain to the dull that politics is not a one-dimensional thing, that in it everyone, pursuing their own interests, hopes to use the other in these interests, who, in turn, is driven by the same motivation. And such that some used, and their rivals only allowed themselves to be used, not having their own interests and goals - this does not happen,” writes the vice-president of the Liberal Mission Foundation on his Facebook page.

“In principle, of course, this is true, but politics is not only principles, but also details in which it is known who is hidden.

For example, one politician sees himself as a presidential candidate, and other politicians do not allow him to participate in the elections, because they do not reveal their interest in such admission, but reveal an exclusively one-sided and harmful concession. In response, he declares elections without his participation illegal and promises, together with his supporters, to boycott them. And then someone suddenly appears on the political scene, declaring his readiness to replace this politician in the elections, which his opponents almost openly patronize. And those who enthusiastically supported him and seem to continue to support him have now delegated their support to his replacement.

That is, they expressed their readiness to vote for this replacement, having forgotten that the one being replaced does not recognize the elections without his participation in them now and will not recognize them later. And they explain this forgetfulness of theirs by the fact that the replacement is also quite worthy, pronounces the right words, and if the dark forces prefer him to the one whom they want to prevent from the elections, then there is nothing wrong with that. For the changer opposes the interests of the dark forces with his own, which he intends to defend, not allowing himself to be used in someone else’s game, but playing his own game. And instead of political hibernation and online whining, there will be political movement, and forbidden words will flow from all screens, awakening the population from hibernation, and it will rush, inspired, to the ballot boxes.

And listening to all this, I think that such logic can only be produced by an original brain. It will be interesting to watch how he will force people to campaign for a replacement when the one he replaced calls for a boycott of the elections. For some reason, it seems to me that cognitive dissonance will be experienced by them unnoticed.
