The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, spoke in favor of burying the body of Vladimir Lenin. To bury, in his opinion, the body of Imam Shamil Hadji Murad is also necessary.
“I am personally convinced that it is enough to stare at the corpse of Lenin. And it is high time to bury the leader of the revolution, this is both reasonable and humane. A whole research institute is working on Lenin's body. Near his body is on duty around the clock security. It is wrong that in the very heart of Russia, on Red Square, there is a coffin with a dead person, ”Kadyrov wrote on Telegram .
He stressed that the issue of Lenin's burial should be decided by Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to the head of Chechnya, "the decision on burial should not be selective."
“It is necessary to intervene both the body of Lenin and the naib of Imam Shamil Hadji Murad, whose head is still kept in the museum of St. Petersburg,” Kadyrov believes.
Earlier, Ksenia Sobchak, who announced her participation in the presidential elections in Russia, announced the need to remove Lenin's body from the mausoleum. In September, the Russian government reacted negatively to the initiative of a number of deputies to rebury Lenin's body.
