Finalists of the Nose Prize were declared

On November 2, at the XI Krasnoyarsk Fair of Book Culture, a short list of the annual literary prize "Nos" was announced.

This was reported by the organizers of the award, the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation. The jury and experts chose ten books from the long-list of the prize:

• Olga Braininger - “There was no additive in the Soviet Union”;
• Alexander Brener - “Lives of Military Artists”;
• Dmitry Glukhovsky - “Text”;
• Vladimir Medvedev - "Zakhhok";
• German Sadulaev - "Ivan Auslander";
• Alexei Salnikov - “Petrova in the flu and around him”;
• Vladimir Sorokin - "Manaraga";
• Stanislav Snytko - “White Brush”;
• Anna Tugareva - “Inlala. Chechen diary ”;
• Andrei Filimonov - “Tadpoles and Saints”.

The jury of the award includes theatrical director Konstantin Bogomolov (chairman of the jury), an translator of Russian literature, Agnieshka Lubomir Piotrovsk, artist and director, curator of the new space of the theater of nations Vera Martynov, historian, head of the Oral History Foundation Dmitry Sporov and director, producer, curator and publisher Roma Liberov.

Until January 20, 2018, online voting for a prize of reader sympathies will continue. The final debate of the Nose Prize, a rewarding of the winner and the presentation of the prize of reader sympathy will take place in Moscow on February 5, 2018 .

The Nose Award (New Literature) was founded in 2009 by the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation to identify and support new trends in modern artistic literature in Russian. The main feature of the bonus is the openness of the decision -making process. An indispensable condition of the jury is the need to publicly argue the choice of finalists and the winner in the framework of the current show in the presence and with the active participation of journalists, writers and the cultural public.

The Grand Prix of the Nos-2016 Prize received Boris Lego for the book Twilight Stories.
