A psychic who received 29 million rubles for rituals was arrested in Voronezh

In Voronezh, the Central District Court arrested for a month a psychic suspected of stealing 29 million rubles, which were given to her for performing rituals, according to the court’s website.

A local resident is suspected under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud, that is, theft of someone else’s property by deception, committed on an especially large scale). According to the court, the woman is suspected of committing five crimes, four of which are classified as serious.

According to preliminary data, in the period from 2015 to 2016, the psychic received money from victims for performing rituals “aimed at improving their material well-being, as well as for solving their personal problems through psychic sessions.” The total amount of the stolen goods was estimated at 29 million rubles. In addition, the investigation claims that when committing the attacks, the psychic exerted a “psychological influence” on the victims.
