"KAMAZ" will be collected in Uzbekistan

KAMAZ trucks will be produced in Uzbekistan in accordance with the cooperation agreement concluded earlier with the local JSC Uzavtosanoat. Production will be organized at the capacities of Uzautotrailer LLC, which is a subsidiary of Uzavtosanoat, TASS reports.

“In addition, in the future, the creation of a joint venture for automotive equipment in the republic,” the agency quoted the press release of the largest domestic manufacturer of trucks, the main shareholder of which is the Rostec State Corporation.

In particular, KAMAZ will supply assembly sets of parts and components to Uzautotrailer, which will assemble the chassis, as well as the installation of the superstructure of its own and joint production.

In addition, within the framework of the mentioned contract, the supply of components and special bodies from Uzbekistan to the KAMAZ enterprise is planned, the report said.
