
In Tula, the Armenian Culture Day took place, whose participants met the attributes of national holidays, culture and life of Armenians. The Jewish national-cultural autonomy of the region at the event was represented by its head Lev Reichlin , the Fenk website says .
The initiator and organizer of the holiday was the Tula regional branch of the Union of Armenians of Russia, the initiative was supported by the authorities of the region and the city. The event was attended by representatives of the city administration, members of national associations and hundreds of Tula residents.
On behalf of the Governor of the Tula region, guests were welcomed by his first deputy and chairman of the government Yuri Andrianov . A representative delegation of the Armenians of Russia, headed by its president, the Ambassador of Goodwill, UNESCO Ara Abraman , arrived on the holiday.
Over 20 thousand Armenians live in the Tula region. Armenian public organizations are actively engaged in charity work, participate in various cultural, educational and educational events. “Relations between the Armenian and Jewish communities are exemplary in nature,” said Lev Reichlin. “And we really value our interaction.”
