In Barnaul, searches are taking place at witnesses in the criminal case against Art Podgotoki activist Lev Vesnin. Tatyana Babich, a former lawyer for Navalny’s headquarters, reported this on the hotline.

OVD-InfoAccording to her, today at about 6:00 am they came to the house of Artpodgotovka movement activist Nikita Yarnykh with a search. First of all, law enforcement officers were interested in electronic storage media.

Yarnykh turned to Babich for legal assistance. She came to the police department, where he was taken after the search for questioning, but because Babich does not have the status of a lawyer, she was not allowed to see his client.

Because of what article Lev Vesnin is accused of, she does not know. The investigator who spoke with her said that now “a lot of people are being detained, there’s a long line.”

According to Babich, during searches of witnesses in this criminal case, police confiscated radios and even hunting uniforms.
