Every year in early May, the old wooden house on 61 Yandrintsevskaya, in Novosibirsk, becomes a place of pilgrimage for informals. Here, in the city center, Yanka Diaghilev, the legend of Siberian rock lived in the city center. The house of Yanka, unlike her poems, could not stand the test of time - it has dilapidated and now either give way to elite new buildings, or will wait for the restoration and transformation to the Museum of Yana Stanislavovna Diagileva. The latter is achieved by activists of Novosibirsk with the support of connoisseurs of Russian rock from all over the country.

“How miraculously this house has been preserved is not very clear,” says the guide Andrei Pozdnyakov, the author of the petition on Change.org. Against the backdrop of the Yankinsky house, new, expensive high -rise buildings rise. This is the very center of Novosibirsk, 700 meters from the opera theater, expensive land in the zone of social and business development. The Novosibirsks predict that some business center will appear on the site of the old wooden house once.
Pozdnyakov leads excursions around the city, and one of the routes is called "Novosibirsk in three dimensions." The third dimension is just about local rock music. In the late 1980s-early 90s, a peculiar, bright musical direction was born in Siberia: Siberian existential rock (Yegor Letov and Civil Defense, Kalinov Bridge, Survival Instructions, etc.). Novosibirsk star in this constellation - Yanka Diaghilev; As a poet and musician, she is known far beyond the borders of her city and country. Yanka’s work, to one degree or another, influenced the entire Russian female rock scene, experts say.
Yanka Diaghilev was born in Novosibirsk on September 4, 1966. In house number 61 on Yandrintsevskaya Street, her family lived, from here she went to school, then to the Novosibirsk Institute of Water Transport Engineers, where she studied the whole course. Here, Alexander Bashlachev, Yegor Letov and others visited her. She spent all her life in this house, up to the tragic death in May 1991.
Today, other people live in a house on Yandrintsevskaya 61.
“I perfectly imagine how the guests of our city, who are trying to look into the windows,” says Andrei Pozdnyakov.
"A guide star will be a yellow plate of a traffic light"
On October 12, he led to the house of the Yankee writer Vasily Avchenko. He was in Novosibirsk, on the way home to Vladivostok, and Pozdnyakov invited him to arrange an excursion. They also passed in memorable places of Siberian rock.
- We came to this house, Vasily asks: what's wrong with him now? Why is he so dead? I say: this house is generally in line for demolition. He: Why don't you save? - says Andrei Pozdnyakov how the idea was born to turn the house on Yandrintsevskaya street into a museum.
Soon Vasily Avchenko wrote about the Yanka’s house on his Facebook page, that he could face the demolition: "The idea of saving this house arose. At least try." From this post, in fact, the All -Russian public campaign began.
Andrei Pozdnyakov placed a petition to the mayor and the governor at Change.org. The first target landmark, two weeks ago, was 500 signatures. To date, about 6 thousand people have set their signatures. Not only the Novosibirsk residents are signed and not only those who knew Yanka during their lifetime. Gleb Samoilov ("Agatha Christie"), Alexander F. Sklyar ("Va-Bank"), Roman Negoroev ("Instructions for survival") and many others joined the campaign to save her house.
“We feel strong moral support from people who are close to this creativity,” says the author of the petition.
"Winged wind in the distance"
However, as it turned out, in the hometown of Yanka Diaghileva, not everyone is familiar with her work, and not everyone who is familiar, consider him something significant.
The mayor of Novosibirsk Anatoly Lokot admitted to reporters that he did not know Yanka: "For me, this is a new topic, I am not very guided by the names that you named. Make a discount on my musical education! It apparently does not keep up with modern fashion." Nevertheless, he promised to figure out and consider the proposals.
A bare sparkling wire is very beautiful, but not everyone is ready to grab it
The initiators of the campaign will also have to convince Novosibirsk residents that the Yankees house is a historical and cultural value. It is not considered a monument of architecture, although it was built before the revolution, that is, it can formally apply for the protection of the state. True, those who are not interested in the work of Yanka Diaghileva see only an old, one -story “hut” in this place. Occupying, moreover, valuable square meters in the city center.
- There is an initiative: let's analyze it, transfer it. But it will be completely wrong! - says Andrey Pozdnyakov. - You just need to be here in this atmosphere. “Ten steps from here the traffic light blinked” - I will show you this traffic light: here it is, on the corner, in her window, this traffic light blinked. "We will walk with you on tram rails" - this is just 700 meters to the opera theater. Behind the Opera Theater, the tram circle is located. This is her road to school, the road to the Institute of Water Transport, where she studied for one year. These are all her paths on which you can go.
So from the paths, from the lines of the Yankin songs, a map of Novosibirsk is folded - a map on which you can drive tourists. But the city authorities never tried to turn the name of Yana Diaghileva into a Novosibirsk brand. When a few years ago, Yankees fans decided to hang it on the house where she lived, a memorial plaque, this was far from the first time. At first, the municipal commission did not recognize for the rock poet of moral right to a commemorative tablet-her work, they say, this is a narrow, "generation" phenomenon. The official position provoked a civil protest, and the memorial plaque was still installed.

Andrei Pozdnyakov, who himself was never acquainted with Diaghileva and was not part of the local rock test, does not blame fellow countrymen who do not understand Yanka:
- This is fine. A bare sparkling wire is very beautiful, but not everyone is ready to grab it. And Yanka is naked nerve, it’s even hard to listen to her. - says Pozdnyakov
"My death is sold"

“Facial face is not seen, it is seen a big one at a distance,” Roman Negoroev , the leader of the Tyumen group “Instructions for Survival”, is quoted by the Yesenin lines, commenting on a dual attitude towards Yanka in Novosibirsk. Negorov and Diaghilev played on the same sites and were familiar. Today he lives in Pskov, so the Novosibirsk public campaign supports remotely - on Facebook and on Change.org.
The novel has no doubt that the Yankees house must be saved from demolition and turned into a museum - it is more than worthy.
Authors of this level in domestic rock music-units, says Roman Negoroev:
-The most important difficulty is to combine the rhythm of the Russian language and English rock music. And not everyone succeeded. She succeeded. She was very talented in Russian melting with rock and rolling rhythm, and it turned out to be such things that can be called unique.
The recognition of the work of Yanka Diaghileva as the classics of Russian rock took place a long time ago, says Negoroev, now the question is what place the Russian rock in the national culture of Russia will take:
- Will he be recognized as an integral part of the cultural heritage? So far, rock is considered partly a marginal branch of culture and to the "real culture", as many believe, does not reach.
It should take the time that Diaghileva’s poems take its place in Russian culture, suggests the music publisher Alexander Valedinsky . Its publishing house "Vurgor" specializes in Russian rock. In 2009, Valedinsky released the anthology of Yanka Diaghileva-four CDs and booklets with photographs. The publication focused on academic requirements was prepared with the participation of Yegor Letov.
- I do not want to apply the words “in demand” in relation to the yank - I immediately recall the song “Sold” - but I see that there is unquenchable interest in it. And it pleases me. It is always nice when such significant, deep things are in demand, ”says Valedinsky.
The musical publisher is confident that the work of the Yanka sooner or later will become a universally recognized part of the cultural heritage. The process can be delayed only because in some songs there is an obscene vocabulary: "Because of this, there may be a zigzag that will delay entering a wide culture for ten years, but this is only a zigzag."
"How to do so that everyone is good"
In response to a request from Siberia. Reali, the city hall of the city of Novosibirsk reported that the authorities did not plan, and have no legal grounds to settle residents and demolition of house No. 61 on ul. Yandrintsevskaya. All residential premises in it belong to private individuals. In accordance with the Housing Code, they also own the land under the house on the rights of common shared ownership.
When we come into contact with things to which the person you love, read, you feel, you feel a surge of strength
This means that in the near future the demolition of the Yanka house seems to still not threaten. Another good news is that there is no specific contender for this piece of land in the center of Novosibirsk. Although there is no guarantee that such will not appear in the foreseeable future.
It turns out that there are no insurmountable obstacles to the turn of the Yankees house into a museum - except, of course, the housing rights of the owners (who are unlikely to refuse to move to more comfortable housing if they receive such an offer). Whether this idea will be implemented, now depends on the activity and perseverance of fans of the Yankee.
- Of course, I am for preserving the house, I want to ensure that in Novosibirsk there is a place where you can come and feel this power. After all, it is always, when we come into contact with things, to which the person you love, read, you feel, you feel a surge of strength. So, I believe that the house is exactly the place, ”says Natalya Zabrodskaya , one of the organizers of the installation of a memorial plaque at the Yanka house. In her opinion, the house is valuable not only by the memory of Yanka, but also as part of the history of Novosibirsk:
- Look, what an interesting architecture he has: a cut angle is a former door. According to some reports, there were workshops before the revolution. You can restore this story and draw the energy of centuries with a straight shovel from there!

Supports the transformation of a residential building into a museum and Valery Grigoryev , organizer of the Yankin Day festival, which has been held in Novosibirsk since 2013.
“This could become a great place for small mental events, musical and poetic, and theatrical,” he says.
On behalf of the Novosibirsk Museum, Yuri Lobanov supported the idea:
- This museum could have been popular with residents and tourists, because Yanka is really a symbol of her era, but her poems are still relevant, time has proven it.
The press secretary of the museum evaluates the chances of the success of the campaign as quite real ones-if only because the categorical opponents of the memory of Yanka Diaghileva "in our city is not yet visible."
“Everything will depend on people - how much this wave will be, how much people will be found who will not let all this to subside,” comments Roman Nepereev. It recalls that the Museum of Alexander Bashlachev has long been working in Cherepovets, and for local authorities this is already a matter of prestige. Perhaps the authorities of Novosibirsk have yet to realize: here, in their city, a real rock star lived.
