The American president said that the DPRK will not endure anymore. “Conducting prohibited nuclear tests, launching missiles that fly over Japan, threatening the security of the civilian population,” the United States will no longer endure such behavior of North Korea, ”Trump said. At the same time, he also outlined the ways to solve this problem. “The Prime Minister of Japan is going to buy a huge amount of weapons, as he should,” the US President said. Thanks to the new systems, Trump is sure, Japan will be able to “knock them in the sky if it completes the purchases of new weapons from the United States.”

Abe in response said that Tokyo is already buying significant volumes of military equipment from American companies - but he emphasized that this is necessary to ensure the country's defense capabilities. “The possibilities in the field of the missile defense harvest is what is based on the interaction between Japan and the USA,” he said. According to the Japanese constitution, we recall, the country cannot contain the army - therefore, self -defense forces are formed instead of it, which, formally, can carry out only defensive operations. At the same time, Abe said that, if necessary, Japan will shoot down missiles flying from the DPRK.

Abe promised that he would cooperate not only with the United States, but also with China and Russia to solve the problem of the DPRK missile and nuclear programs. “The position of Japan and the USA on this issue coincides 100%. We confirmed that we will increase the pressure that the international community now exerts on North Korea, due to bilateral cooperation and work on this issue with China and Russia, ”he explained.

After the visit to Japan, Trump will go to South Korea, and then visit China and Vietnam, where he will take part in the APEC forum. In Vietnam, perhaps Trump will meet with Vladimir Putin, who will also be attended by the forum.
