It is nominated in the category of "Journalism" for the material "Elite as an accomplice" , published on Colta.ru on August 22, 2017.
According to the Prize website , out of almost 600 publications presented to the competition, 30 publications in six nominations were selected in the short list-“Investigation”, “Reporting”, “Interview + Portrait”, “Journalism”, “Regional theme” and “Photo-station”.
The Expert Council of the Profession-Journalist Award includes Media analyst Vasily Gatov, Novia Petrovskaya, observer of Novaya Gazeta, and Julia Mushnik news agency journalist.
The winners will choose the jury of the award: journalists Maria Slonim (chairman of the jury), Yuri Saprykin, Maria Aismont, Sergey Parkhomenko, Arkady Ostrovsky, Maxim Trudolyubov, Andrey Loshak, Carol Williams, Andrei Arkhangelsky, political scientist and publicist Kirill Rogov, director Vera Krichevskaya, chief editor of the Roman Roman. Badanin and editor -in -chief of the Mediazona site Sergey Smirnov.
The awarding ceremony and the announcement of the winner of the special prize of the Profession - Journalist Prize will be held on December 12 in Tallinn.
The Profession - Journalist Award was established by the Open Russia movement in 2016 and is awarded to Russian and foreign authors for publishing Russia in Russian and foreign media. Among the first laureates of the award were the authors of COLTA.RU Andrei Arkhangelsky (nomination "Journalism") and Dmitry Rebrov (nomination "Interview + Portrait").
