
On November 30, at the International Fair of Intellectual Literature Non/Fictio No. 19 in the central house of the artist in Moscow, the presentation of the first book from the three -volume “Archive N.I. Khardzhieva. Russian avant -garde: materials and documents from the collection of RGALI. ”
The publication was prepared by the In Artibus Foundation and the Russian State Archives of Literature and Art (RGALI) and timed to the exhibition “Archive of Khardzhiev” , which takes place in the In Artibus Foundation.
The three -volume “Archive of Khardzhiev” for the first time in Russia will present the corps of rare documents related to the art of the Russian avant -garde from the meeting of the writer and historian Nikolai Ivanovich Khardzhiev (1903–1996).
The Khardzhiev Archive is produced in the series “Anthology of Art of the twentieth century”, which is part of the publishing program of the In Artibus Foundation. The editorial board of the book is Anna Kornodorf and Ekaterina Bobrinskaya (exhibition curators), Nikolai Molok and Elena Rudenko. The scientific editor of the publication is Andrey Sarabianov, the compiler is Alexander Parnis.
The first volumes included articles, the working theses and draft notes of Kazimir Malevich and El Lisitsky, letters from Nina Kogan to Peter Miturich, Malevich, Vera Khlebnikova, the diaries of Mikhail Mityushin, known only by the mention in the critical articles of the 1920s, an article by Alexei Gan, which was written specifically for the personal exhibition of Malevich in 1920, and other documents.
The release of the second volume was scheduled for January 2018, the release of the third volume is for 2019.
The presentation of November 30 will be attended by Ekaterina Bobrinskaya, Anna Kornodorf, Tatyana Goryaeva, Nikolai Molok, Alexander Parnis and Elena Rudenko.
