On November 5, amendments to the Air Code entered into force, allowing air carriers to lower the permitted weight of hand luggage to 5 kilograms and significantly reduce it in volumes. So far, only the Lawkoster "Victory", which until recently, included 10 kg of luggage in his cheapest tickets, took this opportunity. Many passengers did not know about the entry into force, and therefore they had to come up with what to do with unnecessary things that did not crawl into new norms. The correspondent of Novaya day spent Sunday with Victory passengers, watching how they try to squeeze on board the aircraft with their bags.

On the scoreboard of the Victory racks at Vnukovo Airport, several pictures replace each other. In addition to the information about which flights the registration is open, a large inscription appears there from time to time: “The norm of free baggage is set by a airline” - and a little lower, in small letters - an explanation. From now on, everyone who exceeded the established norm should go to the “payment of excess baggage” on the rack. Near the registration racks there is a small blue box, with the help of which passengers check whether their hand luggage is laid in the installed dimensions. The bag must not only be cramped in this box - it should still be closed, otherwise the thing will not be missed in manual custody.

In most passengers, the blue box cover closes with difficulty. Passengers who dealt with this task observe how others are busy with the “Land Load meter”. A woman with a small bag is sympathetically interested in the young guy in a rose -rose: "Did you have a bag in a box?" He nods with undisguised joy and almost runs into the departure zone. The same woman tells several passengers how to put the bags so that the box cover closes, and after a few minutes she goes on landing.

Meanwhile, registration for seven flights has already been opened. The queue of the snake is built almost until the entrance to the registration zone. Passengers who have not calculated the weight of hand luggage frantically cut the excess in their pockets, leaving one of the fellow travelers to monitor the movement of the queue. Things are migrated from suitcases in manual luggage and vice versa. The representative of the airline explains that it is necessary to pay 1200 rubles for baggage, and they cost 2000 excess manual treasury.

Registration is accompanied by logical scandals. Here is a mother and daughter, they have two identical beige bags and a brown suitcase in a small cage in their hands. Everything was shook in film - the ladies prepared to fly out, by the old fashioned way, throwing off the suitcase in baggage. They are clearly not ready for innovation, because they are noisy.

After a short skirmish, an employee of Victory calmly directs them to the third floor, to the representative office of the airline. Mother cries: "I can no longer!"

The next second, both run away, the 140th stroke, where the luggage is recorded, is also empty. After a few minutes, they return with the representative of Victory in a shirt with a short sleeve.

“We have no cash, well, please,” both, persuade them, persuade him to skip with a suitcase.

“Transfer to the maximum here,” the Victory employee quickly commands them, pointing to one of the bags.

The ladies begin to frantically tear the film from the suitcase and take out bags with sweets and tangerines from there. Something, packed in a plastic box, does not fit into the ladies' bag. Another Victory employee is suitable and says that the suitcase that will have to stay on the ground will be placed in the storage room - until the owners return. He assures the passengers that he will also put him back in the suitcase that has not been accepted. Then he takes and carries one of the swollen ladies' bags in a blue box and returns with the words: “Even this one is already big.”

Nevertheless, the bag somehow manages to tamp the box, and after a few minutes the mother and daughter are still allowed to land. “9A,” the Victory employees shout after them. Ladies literally run away from the registration racks, they are almost late on the plane.
