Voice experts did not find data on the costs of consumption for political technologists during the election in the report of the head of Mari El Evstifeev

The winning elections of the head of Mari El Alexander Evstifeev , as well as the governors of the seven other regions, did not report on the payment of the services of political consultants. This is stated in the analytical report of the movement in defense of the rights of voters "Voice" published on November 7.

According to Voice, the elections of governors took place in 15 regions, the experts did not find financial reports of the heads of Mordovia and the Belgorod Region. Of the remaining 13 managers of regions who won the elections on September 10, eight did not reflect in their financial reports data on the payment of the services of political consultants. In the report of Alexander Evstifeev (as well as the heads of Buryatia, Perm Territory, Kaliningrad, Novgorod, Ryazan, Sverdlovsk and Tomsk regions) in the column “spent on payment of work (services) of an information, consulting nature” was affixed “0”. Mari El became one of the four regions, where there is no official data about who led the team of political technologists of the Governor's Staff.

On average, the services of political strategists in the 2017 governor’s elections (according to the reports of the heads of five regions) were estimated in the amount of from 12 to 15 million rubles.

“The concealment of real figures may be due to a waste of budget funds and the cost of accounting and legal services that are used during the election company. The law establishes that if the candidate spent on his campaign not from the official electoral funds, this amount exceeded 10% (in some regions - 5%) of its maximum size, then the election results may be canceled. Thus, the current practice of concealing a significant share of the expenses of candidates and electoral associations calls into question the results of the past elections, ”experts say.

The Voice movement turned to the prosecutor's office, regional election commission and the CEC of Russia with a request to conduct checks.

Information that to participate in Alexander Evstifeev in the early elections of the head of Mari El, a pre -election headquarters is being created in late May. Then it became unofficially known that specialists from Moscow and other Russian cities would ensure his victory - Vologda was most often sounded.

Evstifeev announced the participation in the elections on May 18. The size of its election fund amounted to 16.5 million rubles. Judging by the candidate’s report, they were spent on campaign products.

In the election of the head of Mari El Alexander Evstifeev, he won by a wide margin from competitors. 88.27% of voters who came to the sites voted for him.
