A trip to Kerch (we lived 30 kilometers directly from the city) is always a small holiday. There is a bus from the village of Zolotoe (cost 45 rubles), which arrives directly at the Kerch bus station (essentially, the city center).
First, a few photos of landscapes. Rocky shores. But literally 10 kilometers from the place there is a sandy, gently sloping beach without rocks. It’s very close, the village of Nizhnezamorskoe. The main symbol of Kerch is the griffin. Found literally everywhere. On fountains, on statues between houses. The periodicals of the Republic of Crimea deserve a separate post, and the local coffee shop makes interesting coffee with sea (!) salt. The Kerch embankment is beautiful and clean. Kerch is a small city, the entire center (to the sea with Lenin Square and from the stadium) can be walked along several streets through the Central Market. The center is really nice, southern. Beautiful building. Pedestrian - Lenin Street. Which local pedestrians call "Leninskaya". Surprisingly, the name is in Ukrainian (Lenina Street), here we could see only on one house - the building where the Russian police department is located... This is the view from Midridat. Midridat is a mountain right in the center of the city (on Lenin Square) and to get to the top you need to climb 436 steps. From the top there is a beautiful view of the bridge, the strait and the whole of Kerch. Here they take pictures against the background of the bridge with the hashtag #Crimean_bridge . There is a beautiful view of the strait. And turning right - again #Crimean_bridge . Right at the top of Mount Midridates are the ruins of the ancient city of Panticapaeum. Panticapaeum is the capital of the ancient kingdom of Bosporus. Today it is subjected to archaeological research.
