Rus' is leaving

Olga Romanova, the head of Rus Sitting, was forced to leave Russia after the searches that took place in the organization’s office in June. She reported this on her Facebook page. The searches were associated with the denunciation of the deputy head of the FSIN Anatoly Rudogo, who accused the organization of theft of budget funds on an especially large scale.

According to Romanova, under a contract with the World Bank, the employees of Rus Sitting "studied the needs of prisoners and their relatives to obtain elementary financial knowledge", from afar of brochures and "gave almost a hundred lectures to relatives of convicts, convicted and UIS employees (criminal executive system. - Ed.)".

“Contracts were concluded with the lecturers, the lectures were recorded, the photos were required,” Romanova notes. Nevertheless, Rudy wrote a denunciation, "that we whistled the money, but did not give lectures."

After the searches, Romanova left Russia to Europe on a regular visa. “By the end of my deadline for my stay in the EU, I received an offer to work in one of the respectable German funds. Of course, I accepted it and moved to Germany on September 1,” Romanova said.

Meanwhile, the lawyers of the “Rus Sitting” achieved a court decision that the contract with the World Bank was fulfilled completely. “Now we can write a claim to the Federal Penitentiary Service, as well as make a false denunciation from the Federal Penitentiary Service there - and this is a criminal for Rudom. It is clear that before the initiation of the case on a false denunciation we still have to go and go, but with a complaint everything went under the law: the FSIN was sued, we filed a lawsuit, and the hearing was scheduled for December 6,” Romanova writes.

“I really wanted to return in December and personally participate in court. But it doesn’t work out. After all the inspections, there was no less danger. I probably have the last person in Russia who would like emigration,” Romanova notes. “I know firmly one thing: in order to prove that you are not a camel, it would be nice to not be free at that moment.”

On June 8, the office of Rus Sitting was a search . The security forces studied the financial documentation and printed products of "Rus' -sitting", as well as the contents of computers and external data carriers. Ren-TV without links to sources reported that the search may be related to the fraud case.

The “sitting” Rus' is engaged in legal and material assistance to prisoners and persecuted.
