
The ex-head of Primorye, who was dismissed by decree of the President, Vladimir Miklushevsky may become the rector of the University of Plekhanov or the Moscow Polytechnic University. This was reported by RBC with reference to its own sources.
The interlocutor of the publication, close to the presidential administration, claims that Miklushevsky expects to head the University of Plekhanov. According to the insider from the Ministry of Education and Science, the Polytechnic University is considered as a reserve option.
The Doctor of Technical Sciences Vladimir Miklushevsky since the 1990s taught at the Moscow Institute of Steel and Lefes. In 2007, he was appointed his vice -rector. Then he began work in the Ministry of Education and Science, in 2010-2012 he headed the Far Eastern Federal University. Later, until 2017,he held the post of head of Primorye.
A source from the Ministry of Education and Science told the publication that the appointment of Miklushevsky at the University of Plekhanov is lobbying for the presidential administration. The department does not support this decision and tend to offer the ex-governor the Moscow Polytechnic, who lost the rector in October.
