In Kaliningrad, oppositionist Petrovsky was arrested for messages in a closed chat

Judge of the Central District Court of Kaliningrad Vladimir Elsesser arrested oppositionist Alexander Petrovsky for messages in Telegram. The decision made on November 7, on Wednesday, said New Kaliningrad on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old taxi driver Petrovsky, a resident of Baltiysk, was detained by TSPE operatives on November 5, on the day of the protests throughout the country, at the parking lot. Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code was imputed to the opposition (public calls for terrorism via the Internet), which provides for five to seven years of the colony. The investigation is conducted by the regional FSB.

The special service calls Petrovsky a supporter of "artillery". According to the plot of the case, being the administrator of the closed Telegram Chat "Revolution - Kaliningrad", the oppositionist published a number of calls for protests there. At the court of the extent, the investigator mentioned in particular the phrase “put forward to the barricades” and the phrase “Molotov cocktail”.

Lawyer Rostislav Kulikov insisted that the phrases given by the investigator were torn from context. However, Elsesser ignored the defender's arguments.

On September 29, the same judge Elsesser sent to the pre -trial detention center the fourth defendant in the case of the Baltic Vanguard of the Russian Resistance of Nikolai Sentsov.

As Kulikov said, Petrovsky was sent to the pre-trial detention center-1 in the regional center. The lawyer is preparing an appeal against his client. Now Petrovsky’s defense is needed 80 thousand rubles. The funds are raised at the VK page, which was opened by the Politseka support group.

In the regional UFSB, the newspaper refused to explain whether such cases were initiated against other participants in the Chat “Revolution - Kaliningrad”.
