The ferries no longer go between the village of Ordynskoye and the villages of Nizhnekamenka, as well as between the villages of Genghis and Spirino, is specified in the message of November 9.
According to Anatoly Kostylevsky, Minister of Transport and Roads of the Novosibirsk Region, ferry crossings traditionally began work at the reservoir in May. Two types of ferries worked in the directions: small ferries that are able to transport up to 11 cars and up to 20 passengers at a time, as well as a ferry of larger capacity (up to 60 cars).
“The site of the reservoir, according to which ferries cruised, became not safe for shipping due to the lack of navigation and rescue fleet in case of emergency situations, as well as with the upcoming ice formation. When a thick layer of ice is installed on the reservoir, allowing vehicles to move around it, ice crossings will open. The work of ferry and ice crossings belongs to the powers of the local authorities, therefore, when questions arise, it is necessary to contact the administration of the Horde region, ”Kostylevsky noted.
