Sobchak headquarters: "Our volunteers will be people who want to change their lives"

Who will become the main audience of the presidential campaign of Ksenia Sobchak? When will she come to Siberia? How did you select key cities in the Siberian Federal District and why did Tomsk become the first point for creating the election headquarters? Is Sobchak afraid to become a spoiler of Navalny? Timur Valeev, the coordinator of the regional network of her campaign, answered these questions.

Taiga.info: How ready are your regional headquarters already ready, what tasks do you set for them?

- Of the 50 representative offices, which we, as we said, will open 20 teams in Russia, a little later we will announce them.

The main tasks that we set before the headquarters are agitation for the candidate, collecting signatures, and the mobilization of activists and volunteers on the voting day and the day before, so that the maximum number of people comes to polling stations and votes for Ksenia Anatolyevna.

Taiga.info: It was reported that in Tomsk you have an almost ready headquarters. What are these people?

- I can’t say specific surnames, closer to the opening of the headquarters, we will declare a person who will engage in Tomsk. Why Tomsk? In our opinion, this is one of the brightest and most protest cities that are in Siberia. [There passed] a large number of shares both from Navalny and from Open Russia. The region is very active, there is the potential of protest voting.

Taiga.info: Who do you count on the role of activists and whom do you intend to involve to work?

- Already now, more than 24 thousand people who want to be volunteers are registered on the Sobchakprotivvseh.ru website. We analyze these applications: the age is very different, but everyone distinguishes that these are people who occupy an active life position, who are unhappy and want to change their lives, participate in the socio-political process, are fighting to comply with their own rights from the fight against HOA to large city shares.

Taiga.info: Why are the cities for the stationary headquarters selected precisely these - Tomsk, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Krasnoyarsk and Kemerovo. Focus on the population?

- We have a simple story. Here, in Novosibirsk, you will not have a headquarters, but a representative office. And regional headquarters, plus Moscow, we will have only seven. The headquarters are distinguished by the one in the central part of Russia, where the location of the regions is more compact. And the headquarters closes several neighboring regions. And your distance between the capitals is very large, and it is impossible for one city to cover the other city or region, so all your representative offices will be directly subordinate to Moscow and will be independent.

Taiga.info: Who is the campaign in Siberia in principle?

- On all people who are ready and will change their lives. Who are unhappy with what is happening in Russia. Ksenia Anatolyevna voiced her position if people agree with her and find the right things in this, they will come for her to vote.

Taiga.info: How will the headquarters and campaign finance? At the expense of what money?

- Yesterday, Ksenia Anatolyevna voiced the company's budget, plus she will launch a fundraising in the near future, this money will also go to the work of regional headquarters and representative offices.

- It will be known a little later, now we are closing visits to those headquarters that will open a little earlier than yours. Some of the Siberian cities will be in December.
