The court upheld the decision to arrest the deputy coordinator of Navalny's headquarters in Tambov

On November 11, the Tambov Regional Court rejected the appeal and upheld the decision to arrest Leonid Yarygin, deputy coordinator of Alexei Navalny’s headquarters in Tambov. This was reported on the politician’s team page on VKontakte.

Previously, hewas arrested for 25 days for organizing a meeting with Navalny on October 29 under Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code (repeated violation of the procedure for holding an event).

Headquarters coordinator Diana Rudakova claims that Yarygin “did not appear in any notice of the meeting.” In addition, the event itself was held on private property. There is no need to coordinate it with the authorities.

Rudakova told OVD-Info that at the hearing the judge refused the request to call witnesses. In addition, she did not retire to the deliberation room to make a decision. That is, according to Rudakova, she came with a ready-made solution.

At the first, he was arrested for 20 days, and at the second, he was fined 300 thousand rubles for distributing newspapers. Slitheen went on a dry hunger strike.
