1942 Death of Konstantin Zaslonov

75 years ago, on November 14, 1942, in the village of Kupovat near Orsha, the commander of the partisan detachment Konstantin Zaslonov died along with his headquarters. Posthumously, he was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union - in particular, for successful railroad sabotage in Orsha. Until the end of the 80s, the fact that Zaslonov was killed by fighters of the collaborationist Russian National People's Army (RNNA) was hushed up.
