Kazakhstan "Kairat" extended the contract with Andrei Arshavin

The attacking midfielder Andrei Arshavin signed a new contract with the Kazakhstan football club Kairat. According to the press service of the team , an agreement with a 36-year-old Russian veteran is designed for one season.

“I am glad that Kairat invited me to extend the contract for another year,” Arshavin said. “I am comfortable here in Alma -Ata, I hope to benefit this club and I want to stay until I be useful to the club and the team.”

Arshavin moved to Kairat in the spring of 2016 from the Krasnodar Kuban. For the last two seasons, he became the silver medalist of the Championship of Kazakhstan, in 2017 he won the country's cup and super cup. In 71 matches for the Kazakh club, he scored 21 goals, reminds TASS.
