On November 14, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Ufa replaced the previously assigned compulsory work with a fine of 20 thousand rubles to Lilia Chanysheva, the coordinator of the local campaign headquarters of Alexei Navalny. She was accused of organizing a march on October 7, writes “Idel. Realii” with reference to the activist herself.
The court examined the videotapes provided and demanded that the witnesses give written evidence, although the witnesses from the police side did not appear at the hearing.
On October 7, in Ufa, Navalny's supporters held a meeting on the square in front of the Sports Palace, and after that, a walk to Lenin Square. Before that, the police told Chanysheva that they had no complaints about the action. The event took place without detentions, but on October 9, a protocol was drawn up against the coordinator under Part 2 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (organization of a mass event not agreed with the authorities).
On October 13, the Oktyabrsky Court assigned the activist 40 hours of compulsory work, but on October 25, the Supreme Court of Bashkortostan overturned this decision and sent the case back for a new trial. The Supreme Court took into account that Chanysheva did not come to the meeting - her interests were represented by her lawyer. However, the court did not take into account that the coordinator did not organize the rally, but was present at the event as a journalist - later the activist published a video from the rally.
