Police lost the report on the case of an Orthodox seminarian for the action on October 7

In Yekaterinburg, the police lost an administrative protocol in the case of a graduate of the seminary, Viktor Norkin, in connection with a rally in support of Navalny on October 7. The Leninsky District Court returned the case to the police, reports . Novyi Den news agency

According to the agency, only a copy of the protocol was provided to the court. The judge did not consider the case file. In addition, the court noted that they contain an instruction to notify Norkin via SMS. At the same time, Norkin himself did not give consent to SMS notifications.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs denied information about the loss of the original protocol and referred to the poor eyesight of the judge, the newspaper reports. “In fact, the talk about the loss of the original protocol was caused by the fact that the protocol was simply filled out with a black pen. Accordingly, the court was given the original, not a copy,” said the official representative of the Yekaterinburg Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Buchelnikova.

Norkin was detained at a protest on October 7. A protocol was drawn up against him under Part 5 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by a participant of the procedure for holding a public event).
