On Monday, the press appeared excerpts from the correspondence of Donald Trump Jr., the son of the US president, with the exposure of WikiLeaks. Initially, fragments received as a result of leakage were published. But soon Trump Jr. himself published on his Twitter screenshots of full chains of messages, which included these fragments. This event was considered necessary to discuss large media. The discussion mainly consists in the retelling of messages with rare interspersed metacrols.

It is not yet clear, notes The Atlantic, what conclusions the investigation will draw from this correspondence. Moreover, published messages are only a small share of the fact that Trump Jr. provided the investigation. But what is already available is unnecessary confirmation of the thesis that Trump Jr. sought to collect information that denigrates Clinton. The thesis initially grew out of the story about how he met with Russian lawyer Natalya Veselnitskaya. WikiLeaks itself, meanwhile, is emphasized in the material, played a key role in the presidential campaign. In July 2016, the publication of correspondence from the democrats server began there. This correspondence, originally published by The Atlantic, writes Wall Street Journal , is the first certificate of direct contact between the campaign of Donald Trump Sr. and Swedish platform WikiLeaks. The investigation led by Robert Muller is needed as another indirect hint of the possibility of conspiracy between Trump and Russia.
