Colta.ru published a list of theater directors whom the Ministry of Culture does not recommend inviting the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum to the VI VI on Thursday. The list is an application to a service note, which Vladimir Aristarchkhov sent the first deputy head of the department to another deputy minister - Alexander Zhuravsky. The invitation of these directors to the forum, Aristarkhs claims in the note itself, "inappropriate."

There are six names in the list. This is the Hogol Center Kirill Serebrennikov, the founder of the School of Dramatic Art Anatoly Vasiliev and its director Dmitry Krymov, Deputy Khudruk of the Theater of Nations, Theater critic Roman Dolzhansky, the artistic director of the Petersburg Maly Theater Lev Dodin and the Hudor theater named after Tovstonogova Andrey Mogeliy.

The list is accompanied by a certificate in which the directors are justified. In particular, Serebrennikov says that his activity "as a director and cultural manager contributes to the erosion of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values ​​and weakening the unity of the multinational people of the Russian Federation (including the spread of low-quality products of mass culture)." “There are attempts to falsify Russian history,” the document says.

The Ministry of Culture of Vasiliev, who has long emigrated to France for France, "states that" a significant part of the director’s creative activity is the avant -garde experiments and radical interpretations of literary works aimed at the deconstruction of the traditions of domestic theatrical art and traditional Russian values. Two productions of Krymov - according to Eugene Onegin Pushkin and Gogol Dead Souls - caused the displeasure of the Ministry of Culture by the fact that they supposedly testify to the "original mood of the authors to create a product of radical art, breaking the positive constructive of the classic work." The images of Pushkin and Gogol were used, as claimed, "in the sarcastic and mocking manner."

Dodin, according to the Ministry of Culture, “is prone to the erosion of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values ​​in creativity, attempts to falsify Russian history” and, “apparently, shares an“ opposition ”political worldview.

The published note by Aristarkhov contains links to two similar documents sent to them earlier. The certificate of directors is accompanied by the subtitle "Section" Theater ". This allows us to conclude that such black lists were compiled for other types of art.

In October, the head of the Echo of Moscow, Alexei Venediktov, placed in his Telegram channel another black list compiled in the Ministry of Culture to the VI St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum and also directed by the Aristarkhov Zhuravsky. In this list, among others, Russian film director Alexander Sokurov, English film director Danny Boyle, Russian writer Grigory Chkhartishvili, Swiss composer and theater director Christoph Marthalier appeared in this list.
