Volunteer of the Perm headquarters of Navalny was taken to the police from his studies

Volunteer of the regional headquarters of Alexei Navalny in Perm, Alexander Shabarchin, was taken to the police directly from classes at the university. This was reported to OVD-Info by another volunteer of the headquarters, Pavel Novichenko.

Shabarchin was taken to police department No. 6 in Perm, where a protocol was drawn up against him under Part 5 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding a public event).

On October 7, a group of people came to the building of the police department, where the detained coordinator of Navalny's headquarters, Maxim Zhilin, and activist Mikhail Kasimov, were taken. People just wanted to get information about the fate of the detainees. The police considered it a separate illegal action.

According to Novichenko, at first the police “caught” the protesters at the monument to the Heroes of the Front and the Rear, and now they have switched to those who approached the department later.

Zhilin was fined 20 thousand rubles (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), Kasimov was given 60 hours of compulsory work.
