Why life will get better in Russia
From surveys of sociologists it is known that we live in the happiest, most united, most patriotic people in the world. Therefore, I was very surprised by a random repost on a social network - some attentive user noticed a somewhat strange combination of pop-up tips.
Yandex explains that search suggestions are variations of the most popular queries that begin with the same letters and words that you enter. Agree that for a country on the rise, inspired by the successes of the past years, the predominance of hopeless questions about small salaries and pensions, the feeling of the dominance of “bunch” and that “life is getting worse and worse” is incomprehensible.
Not believing my eyes, suspecting evil slander from foreign agents, I decided to conduct my own experiment and set a similar phrase in other popular search engines.
As you can see, the results are not at all encouraging. To the list of the main interests of compatriots were added bad roads, inaccessible vacations, inflation, expensive gasoline, general discomfort... Less well-known search engines produced almost the same drop-down lists, adding bad medicine, laws, housing, etc.
The question is, where is the joy, enthusiasm, where are the notorious 86% of supporters of the current course, finally? Well, everything can’t be so hopeless! Grass, Halloween, Uzbeks and single women don't count. After all, people typing on keyboards have computers and an Internet connection. I have never been one of the unbridled optimists, but where does such despondency, almost national depression come from? Perhaps for the first time in years, I regretted that I couldn’t turn on the TV in the absence of one and inject myself with a little antidote.
I looked through news sites and found the light at the end of the tunnel. Reuters obtained a document from the Russian Presidential Administration, which instructs the largest companies to send weekly positive news in two directions: “life is getting better” and “what was and is.” The drafters of the order note that the lives of fellow citizens have actually become calmer and more beautiful, and demand a creative approach in selecting information occasions. They probably know better. Given the income declarations and the amount of security, really, what's there to worry about? After all, it has long been no longer real changes for the better, but words and only words that have become the main indicators of the work of many power structures.
Why not go further? Declare a temporary moratorium on the creation of bureaucratic opuses and oblige officials to type in search engines “Why in Russia... everything is fine, everything is fine, everything is fine”? And, indeed, you should be more creative, have more enthusiasm, ingenuity, and positive emotions. For example, prohibit Russian citizens from making certain requests on the Internet as contrary to the fundamental interests of the patriotic ruling circles. After all, just tossing an idea at the current deputies will do the trick for them.
