© Malina.amThe artistic director of the Derevo Theater Anton Adasinsky turned to the organizers of the VI St. Petersburg Cultural Forum (IFF) with a request to remove his name from the Posice of the Circus and Street Theater section.
In the circulation posted on the Derevo Theater website, Anton Adasinsky writes about the two reasons for refusing to participate in the ICF.
“Yesterday I spoke with the office of Alexander Sokurov. He does not take part in the forum. The reason for this is a letter signed by the First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Aristarkhov, which he did not confirm, but did not refute. In a letter, several famous directors, journalists and writers are called undesirable guests of the forum. Today another “black list” appeared behind his signature. This time - according to the "Theater" section. This is not a fake. I can’t afford not to notice what is happening. This is the first reason, ”the appeal says.
As the second reason, Anton Adasinsky called the impossibility of “play under the“ hat ”of the Ministry of Culture, an organization that, with its demonstrative non -interference, approves the finding of my friends and work colleagues - K. Serebrennikov, S. Apfelbaum and A. Malobrodsky.”
In October, the editor-in-chief of Echo of Moscow, Alexei Venediktov, published photographs of the official notes of the First Deputy Minister of Culture Vladimir Aristarkhov in the name of the state secretary Alexander Zhuravsky, which listed unwanted MKF participants, including Alexander Sokurov, Grigory Chkhartishvili, Danny Boyle and Christophe Martall. The Ministry of Culture denied the authenticity of the letter.
The other day, at the disposal of Colta.ru , another document designed for internal use was signed by Vladimir Aristarkhov - judging by the content, excerpts from an expanded and supplemented version of the previously published official note. The fragment obtained by the editorial office includes the “black list” of the 2017 MKF-2017 section, as well as a brief description of its defendants, including Hudruk MDT Lev Dodin, the founder of the Dramatic Art School Anatoly Vasiliev, Khudruk BDT Andrei Mogeliy, Kirill Serebrennikov and Dmitry Krymov, artistic and director Gogol Center.
Kirill Serebrennikov, Director of the Russian Academic Youth Theater Sofya Apfelbaum, former director of Gogol Center and the former general producer of the Seventh Studio, Alexei Malobrodsky, are held in the so-called Seventh Studio. Her former employees are accused of embezzlement of budget funds allocated for the theater project "Platform". Serebrennikov and Apfelbaum are under house arrest, Malobrodsky is detained.
In support of Serebrennikov and other defendants in the case of the Seventh Studio, many cultural figures in Russia and abroad, including the European Film Academy , the European Cultural Parliament , the Operational Conference of Germany , the Association of Theatrical Critics , Gidon Kremer , Ivan Zarypaev , Chulpan Khamatova , Ian McCelllen , Mikhail Baryshnikov, Alexander Kalyagin , Alexander Kalyagin, Alexander Kalyagin . Actors, directors, musicians, writers, playwrights and heads of theaters from different countries, 1300 signatures gathered an open letter from three hundred young Russian cultural figures who demanded to free the defendants in the “Seventh Studio” case, more than a hundred people entered the Cyril Serebrennikov, created in France.
