In Saratov, activists Mikhail Smyslov, Ekaterina Kuskova, and Natalia Ilchishina were visited by FSB agents and searched their apartments. It is reported by the news agency Svobodnye Novosti.
They came to Smyslov's home at about 19:00 Moscow time and confiscated his equipment. According to the agency, the activists were invited to the FSB for questioning. Kuskova has already been released, the others have not.
Human rights activist Vladimir Charsky told the publication that they came to the young people as part of operational-search activities, and not an initiated case. FSB officers are interested in the activities of the unregistered Free People party. According to Charsky, this may be related to the criminal case against politician Vyacheslav Maltsev, who is suspected of creating a terrorist community.
