Putin (at all) is not a mugaba. Why not compare the situation in Zimbabwe and Russia

Contrary to the widespread opinion, partly inspired by the alarming tonality of the Russian media, we live in a relatively stable political environment. The rulers - both democratic and authoritarian - are quite rare. It is not surprised that when this is still happening in some corner of the world, then many try to try on what is happening on themselves: is this possible in our country?

A coup in Zimbabwe also caused a similar reaction, where the military removed from the power of President Robert Mugaba. However, it is not worth projecting events in a distant and unfortunate African country to Russia. The chances that in our foreseeable future there will be something similar, very little. And the point is not that Zimbabwe is in Africa, and Russia is the citadel of Orthodoxy and the last refuge of traditional values. There are modes on the black continent, which is structurally almost no different from modern Russia, for example, in Gabon. However, Zimbabwe is not one of them. There is a similarity, but rather distant.
