Transbaikalia: the inspection complex was completed on the border with China

RosElektronika Holding almost completed the inspection and inspection complex on the border of Russia with China at the largest checkpoint "Transbaikalsk".

According to the director of external communications of RosElektronika JSC Arsenia Brykin, the complex will be commissioned in the near future. The device allows you to determine which cargo is transported in the car at a distance: complexes are able to inspect up to 25 cars or trucks per hour or railway trucks moving at a speed of up to 70 kilometers per hour, Brykin said.

397 million rubles were spent on creating an inspection complex in Transbaikalia, Interfax writes. It will be the first inspection and inspection apparatus at the railway checkpoints of Russia.

The system not only determines the material of the cargo, but also automatically attributes it to one of the four main groups. The complex will help customs officers and border guards to detect smuggling and illegal load, for example, explosives, drugs, weapons, ammunition.

Most often, Transbaikal customs officers catch China citizens on an attempt to take out gold nuggets and jade. So, since the beginning of the year, the smugglers on the border found almost a hundred kilograms of the mineral.
