The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has launched an investigation against the country's Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko under an article on illegal enrichment. to Ukrayinska Pravda This was reported by NABU spokeswoman Svetlana Olifira.
The representative of the department clarified that the case was initiated under part 3 of article 368-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine by decision of the Solomensky District Court of Kyiv.
At the same time, the former Deputy Prosecutor General Renat Kuzmin claims that the case was initiated at his request. Kuzmin wrote about this on Facebook, attaching a letter from NABU to his post, where he was informed about the opening of criminal proceedings.
According to Kuzmin, this is the fifth case filed against Lutsenko, according to his statements.
