The case of a minor girl detained on June 12 was brought to court

In Moscow, the Commission on Juvenile Affairs transferred the case of the minor detained on June 12 to the Timiryazevsky District Court. This was reported to the OVD-Info hotline by human rights activist Eduard Rudyk.

He noted that at first the case was sent to the Tverskoy District Court, but it was returned from there. After that - to Timiryazevsky, at the place of residence of the girl, where the case was accepted.

The transfer of the case of a minor to the court is a violation of Part 1 of Art. 23.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses: "District (city) commissions for minors and the protection of their rights consider cases of administrative offenses committed by minors, as well as cases of administrative offenses provided for in Articles 5.35, 5.36, 6.10, 6.23, 20.22 of this Code."

Rudyk believes that in this way law enforcement agencies want to put pressure on the father of a minor, one of the Moscow activists. The girl is accused of violating the procedure for holding a public action (Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

Actions against corruption were held on June 12 in 154 cities of Russia. According to the organizers, journalists and participants, a total of 98,720 people took to the streets, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs - 49,661. More than 1,769 people ended up in police departments.
