Due to pressure from the authorities, the landlord evicts Navalny's headquarters in Kemerovo

In Kemerovo, the leaders of the business center "Tom", where the local election headquarters of Alexei Navalny rents premises, announced the termination of the lease. About this writes “Siberia. Realii” with reference to the headquarters coordinator Ksenia Pakhomova.

She said that local authorities are putting pressure on the owners of the building: officials threaten that if the owners of the business center do not evict Navalny's supporters, then they will have problems.

Pakhomova noted that it is not so easy to find a new headquarters for the headquarters - according to her, not everyone wants to cooperate with them. The coordinator gave an example when, during the search, one of the landlords told her: “We will not rent an office to you, otherwise they will burn us.”

Similar situations happened several times with Navalny's Moscow headquarters. In June, the owner of the premises on Sadovnicheskaya Embankment changed the locks on the headquarters door. After that, the headquarters staff found a new place on Gilyarovsky Street, but did not stay there for long: in August, the owner sent a notice of early termination of the lease.
