The Duma allowed airlines to refuse transportation to rowdy people

State Duma deputies adopted in the third reading a bill that will give airlines the right to draw up blacklists of passengers who have committed rows on board. As TASS reports , carriers will not be able to allow such citizens onto their flights for a year. The crew commander will have the right to hand over troublemakers to the police upon landing.

The carrier will be able to include on the blacklist a passenger who is imposed an administrative penalty by the court for failure to comply with the orders of the crew commander, for actions that pose a danger to the aircraft, or for hooliganism. This will be possible after the court decision comes into force. The company will be obliged to inform the rowdy about this. After a year, the airline will be required to remove the passenger from this list. Inclusion on the list can be appealed.

The company will not be able to refuse blacklisted passengers only in a few situations and upon presentation of the relevant documents. Exceptions are made for cases where this company and its flights are the only way by which he can return to his homeland or leave his location during administrative expulsion from Russia, deportation or readmission, to travel for treatment, to attend the funeral of a relative, or to accompany a passenger. -disabled person.
