Irkutsk businessman Dmitry Tolmachev, who provided his Moskva furniture shopping center for a private meeting with Alexei Navalny, was arrested for 5 days. This is reported by Meduza.

According to the police, Tolmachev participated in the organization of an uncoordinated public event (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). On November 17, for the same meeting with Navalny, was arrested for 7 days. the coordinator of Navalny's Irkutsk headquarters, Sergei Bespalov,

At the headquarters, the November 4 event was called “a meeting of the labor collective with Navalny” and stated that such an event did not require coordination.

The police considered the meeting a rally. At the same time, the organizers emphasize that the meeting was held in a limited mode: admission to it was possible only upon presentation of a ticket, and the event itself was held on private territory. The organizers decided to restrict entry to the meeting after "forty refusals from the mayor's office of Irkutsk to coordinate the rally at municipal sites."

Shortly before the event, someone attached a pig's head to the door of Tolmachev's office.
