Ksenia Sobchak decided to start preparing for the presidential campaign from the cycle of open expert discussions, the first on the creation of an inclusive society. According to the organizers, the purpose of the event is to recall that there are many orphans in the country, patients cannot get quotas for treatment in time, people die in neuropsychiatric boarding schools, in our country there is no integrated system of assistance to people with autism. The wide theme of the discussion is accompanied by the same global statistics: the numbers collected by the UN Children's Fund and the World Health Organization break out on the screen.

Ksenia Sobchak immediately says that she is primarily a listener and a journalist, and the discussion is headed by Avdotya Smirnov, a film director, publicist and founder of the Foundation Foundation, which promotes the solution of autism problems in Russia. Ksenia Sobchak is basically silent with a sympathetic expression on his face, sometimes throwing clarifying remarks, it comes to politics only when Smirnova says that Sobchak is the first presidential candidate affecting the topic of people with disabilities.

Full of money - there is not enough trust

So far, everyone who wants to take part in the 2018 presidential election is only announcing intentions, not one of the possible candidates, including Sobchak, has submitted a detailed program. In general election theses, a person, as a central object of concern of the state, is mentioned by Grigory Yavlinsky (Yabloko Party), however, only in third place - after the “Debolshevization”, “Conclusion of the Peace with Ukraine” and “Load of Property”. Vladimir Zhirinovsky (LDPR party) proposes to prohibit the discrimination of any minorities and mentions that "the divided nations must connect - Russians, Koreans and others, the rights of women, children, disabled people and the elderly must be protected everywhere." Gennady Zyuganov (the Party of the Communist Party) in the 2018 program statements focused on the problems of “spiritual and moral degradation” and “loss of defense capabilities”, but representatives of the Communist Party in a conversation with the “such cases” correspondent emphasized that they have long developed and presented a separate program “equal opportunities for the disabled”. “Let's talk about real affairs, and not about PR mediocre TV presenter,” the communist party said. Politician Alexei Navalny, who also announced the desire to run for president, in his program states that "is ashamed to collect money for the treatment of children, while officials openly buy yachts and palaces for themselves."

Ksenia Sobchak claims that the result of this and other expert discussions should be not only the section in her election program, but also the specific proposals transferred to her to the State Duma, the Public Chamber and the current president. Inclusion discussion lasts an hour, then Ksenia suggests asking questions, and the press secretary of the election headquarters Ksenia Chudinova several times emphasizes that there are no uncomfortable questions for Sobchak.

Ksenia replies that the budget is a matter of trust in the state, that now there is no trust, because there are no ways to control. And this is precisely the problem, and not that there is not enough money. Another listener thanks Ksenia for raising a “non -hiipova” topic and says that he has no question. The young man from the first row rises and asks: “I do not understand, but people who can study in higher education institutions?”

Avdotya Smirnova answers the question - there is practically no such opportunity not only in higher educational institutions, but also in secondary ones, although secondary education is guaranteed by the state. "Well, paragraph!" - the young man says indignantly, sitting back.

To the question of the correspondent of “such cases” about when Sobchak changed her opinion about systemic charity - in May 2016, she ambiguously spoke about the activities of charitable foundations - Ksenia repeats several times that the article is in the public domain, and everyone can read it. According to her, she had in mind just the fact that philanthropists should unite for the sake of a good deed, and not "pull each blanket in their sphere of activity." I ask what the discussion will change, whose participants have repeatedly turned to all state bodies, from the Public Chamber to the State Duma - with about the same effect. Sobchak says: “Maybe he will change, or maybe not, but in any case I think that it is necessary to take out this topic in the public field.”
