"King and the Jester" will give concerts for the five years of death of Mikhail Gorshenev with his hologram

They will be held in the summer of 2018 in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The exact dates have not yet been defined. The group and memory of Mikhail Gorshenev are still working on a concert program and on the technical support of the creation of a hologram-according to the group’s press secretary, there are a number of previously not published videos and audio recordings, according to which the holographic image of the former leader of the group will create.

This summer marks the 30th anniversary of the formation of the King and the Jester group. We believe that the team developed in 1988–89 - since our meeting with the pot. It was our meeting that laid the basis of the group, because as soon as we met, they immediately began to engage in creativity together. Also, this summer turns five years old, as Michael has gone. We combine these two dates in a large event - concerts that are dedicated to the memory of the King and the Jester and Mikhail Gorshenev.

Michael “Got” Gorshenev died on the night of July 18 to 19, 2013 due to toxic cardiomyopathy with the development of acute heart failure against the backdrop of alcohol and morphine. Before that, he regularly used drugs and, according to the 360 ​​Moscow Region TV channel, suffered eight clinical deaths.

After the death of Gorshenev, the composition of the “king and jester” stopped giving concerts under the former name, but the songs continued to perform Andrei Knyazev’s team “Knyazz”, having arranged several concerts of Gorshenev’s memory and with programs from the classic songs “King and the Jester”, including attracting Alexei Gorshenev - the younger brother of Mikhail and the vocalist of the Kukryniks group. In 2014, the film-concert “On the edge” about the life of Gorshenev was released.
