Chronicle of the persecution of Supporters of Navalny in Yaroslavl over the past one and a half months

In Yaroslavl on October 7, the police detained 57 people. The protocols were drawn up for someone, someone was later calculated from the video. Over the past weeks, many have experienced close attention of law enforcement agencies. OVD-info compiled a chronicle of the persecution of supporters of Alexei Navalny in a separate city based on the data of the coordinator of the Yaroslavl headquarters of Navalny Elena Lekishashvili.

October 7

• On October 7, about three hundred people took part in Sovetskaya Square in Yaroslavl, in which about three hundred people took part. Many police officers took explanations right on the spot. Then two people with a poster were detained. Some people went to the police department, where the detainees were brought. After that, the police immediately brought the whole crowd to the police - another 54 people, among whom were 16 minors.
• On that day, the police amounted to 8 protocols - all in part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (participation in an inconsistent public event, which interfered with the functioning of the infrastructure).

October 9

• Two protocols on the first detainee on the square were eventually declared invalid, and administrative proceedings on cases against Alexander Baikin and Vladimir Mordvintsev were closed "in connection with violations in the execution of offenses that could not be eliminated when considering cases by the court."
• The former coordinator of the headquarters Alexander Diunov was convicted of 80 hours of compulsory work.
• Former staff officer Kirill Shevtsov received 40 hours of work. After the activist filed a complaint against the court decision, the police drawn up another protocol against him - for participating in a disagreed picket in May. For this, Shevtsov was fined 30 thousand rubles.
• Kirill Karpov was awarded 10 thousand rubles for “violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, procession or picket” (part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
• The police came to the minor, whose adult brother was detained for stocks. The young man was not at the rally, but he was in a group of supporters of Navalny on VKontakte. The police talked with the parents of the minor and took a receipt from them that he would not participate in protests.

October 10-11

• Police came to work to the activist of Yuri Butyavin. They were interested in the way of life of Butyavin. On October 7, the protocol was drawn up with errors, so the administrative case was closed.

October 12

• The Kirovsky District Court fined the student Maria Davydov for 10 thousand rubles. She was found guilty of violating the procedure for holding a public event (part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

October 17

• Semyon Osipov received 10 thousand a fine. The police also came to work.

October 18

• Another person who did not want to call his name received 20 hours of compulsory work on October 18.

October 20

• Police came to work to the activist of Yuri Butyavin. They were interested in the way of life of Butyavin. On October 7, the protocol was drawn up with errors, so the administrative case was closed.

October 23

• One of the minors detained on the 7th was called with their mother to the juvenile inspectorate.

October 24

• On October 24, Alexander Diunov was called to the police to "register".

October 25

• Police came to Alexander Baikin and were interested in where he was working and what he was doing.
• Police officers came to city school No. 71 and conducted a lecture on Alexei Navalny.
• Andrei Razumov was given 20 hours of work (part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The protocol was drawn up right before the court, taking the activist to the police from steam at the university.
• The police came home to Kirill Karpov to talk.

October 26

• On October 26, one of the city schools arranged a special parent meeting dedicated to protests and Alexei Navalny.
• The court was fined by Vyacheslav Lobanov, who was calculated from photographs and videos, for 10 thousand rubles.

November 13th

• The regional court of the Yaroslavl region examined the complaints of Diunov and Shevtsov against the decisions of the court of first instance. The meetings were postponed to December 13th. The judge, who considered Shevtsov’s complaint, retired to the deliberation room, but then he returned and began to consider the case again. Employees of the EE center provided video materials according to Shevtsov by police officers of the 9th, but somehow they are mentioned in the protocol drawn up by the 7th.

November 14th

• The police came to the headquarters of the Navalny election campaign and offered the headquarters of the headquarters Elena Lekishvili to appear to the police to draw up a protocol for calls to reach an inconsistent campaign on October 7. Lekiashvili called a convenient time for her, the police left, but soon they called back and said that at the appointed time it would not be possible to draw up a protocol. They promised to call back again.

November 18

• Elena Lekiashvili received by mail a definition of the opening of administrative production in relation to her part 1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by the organizer of the public event of the procedure for its implementation), dated November 3.

According to Lekiashvili, before so tight activists in the city were not persecuted:

For Yaroslavl, this is generally an unheard of story, of course. I have been following everything that has been happening in political life here since 2011. Never detained anyone on any promotions. Urals, OMON and Rosgvardy on the streets of the city - Yaroslavl has not yet seen such. Probably, such a sharp reaction to a peaceful action is associated with the figure of the recently elected governor, former deputy minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Dmitry Mironov.
