The head of the CEC of the Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people, Zair Smedlyaev , reports that the house of the activist and former deputy of the Kurultai Mustafa Mustafayev in Bakhchisarai is being searched.
Later it became known that the security forces themselves call what is happening not a search, but an “inspection”. At the same time, law enforcement officials are not interested in Mustafayev himself, but in his son, who is registered at a different address. The police refused the offer to go to the place of registration of their son, and after Mustafayev refused to let them into the house, they began to threaten to call the riot police.
The Crimean Solidarity Facebook page reports that Mustafayev and a number of other Crimean Tatar activists from Bakhchisaray were previously invited to the FSB. The secret service wanted to check the connections of the activists with the people arrested in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case.
